    Well, Donkey Kong Country is a platformer game, similar to Mario. So it shouldn't be hard to make for Nintendo.

    If you notice I said SHOULDN'T be hard. That and, they aren't copied, but the game is "up their alley". It's easy for them to adapt to the new game style. All the have to do is pretend it's Mario in a jungle environment.

    They are only telling you about the good aspects in a commercial. Reviewers or friends, those are who you should trust.
