Subtle thing to notice in Pokemon

Post by Applejack on Thu May 12, 2011 2:55 pm

Here are some things that differ from real life.

    1. In Pokemon, you just barge inside people's houses. Yeah, that's what they want; a 10 year old Pokemon Trainer barging in, taking your food and items. That's breaking and entering, and stealing. Do you like stealinn in games? HUH!?

2.How the hell do pokemon survive fire or electric attacks when in battle. You make them fight to their literal death. Do you like killing them? and in Pokemon BW, Alder lost his Pokemon from sickness. Yeah, sickness, when the pokemon has a better chance of dying in a battle. But No!

    3. In Pokemon RB, There was a Marowak who got killed by team rocket. WTF? Why would Team Rocket kill a Pokemon? Why would they shoot it, seeing as that must be an obvious answer.

    Yeah....all of that...

It was the first new day of the century
    In one hundred years
When I felt like I should cry
    I laughed away my tears

    ʇı ɥʇıʍ dɹǝp

All in all, I'd rather have detention
All in all, I'd rather eat a toad
The old man drives like such a klutz
That I'm about to hurl my guts
    Directly upon the open road

He's climbin' in your windows, snatching your people up.

Though in all seriousness, I'm pretty sure a bunch of people have noticed a bunch of this stuff. Besides, this is Pokemon. A children's video game. It doesn't really have to make that much sense (how do kids at the age of 10 defeat renowned criminal organizations?)

Every trainer stays in the same place forever, and never sleeps. There are loads of things like this in Pokemon.
If the trainer ever gets hungry he can just eat his spare Pokemon. (nomz on Mewtwo and Magikarp)

Yep, don't forget, that there are like twenty people in your home town, yet the only houses there are yours and your rival's (s'). Also that you need Cut to get rid of trees when a Fire-Type could just as easily burn it down, or how Magikarp can't use Surf, even though it is equally as capable as carrying you on it's back as a Poliwag or Zigzagoon.
